Henry Rollins will be bringing his speaking tour “An Evening With Henry Rollins” to the shores of Australia this September.

It will be the first time the iconic singer has appeared on Australia’s shores since 2012. During that time, Rollins has done such varied things as voiced a weasel in the Disney cartoon "Sheriff Callie’s Wild West", and won the Ray Bradbury Creativity Award for his services to the arts throughout the years.

The singer, writer, activist, radio host and actor was the front-man of legendary punk band Black Flag in the 1980s until they split up and Rollins pursued a number of different ventures. The talented 55- year old has written and published a number of books, while appearing on TV shows such as “Sons of Anarchy” and hosting a number of his own radio shows in America.

Rollins has been a vocal advocate for human rights across the last three decades, gaining himself the image of an outspoken activist. The topics such as gay rights have often formed a large part of his speaking tours as he has continually pushed for social change.

As yet there have been no shows announced for Sydney, but Rollins has promised a “special show announcement” will be coming soon. Meanwhile, the extensive month-long tour begins in New South Wales before travelling all around the country.
