Veteran Grime MC, Wiley, has announced a forthcoming album titled Godfather. The album title is a play on his well-earned moniker "Godfather Of Grime," as he's widely credited with being a pioneer of the genre. 

The album marks the triumphant return of the legendary spitter, and is slated to be released September 2nd. The offering is said to include 16 tracks, with the full release to be preceded by 3 singles.

Godfather could be a defining late-career moment for Wiley, or may spell the end of the great artists relevancy. Only time will tell, but I for one am hoping for one more fantastic project from a man that has indelibly marked Grime music, and music generally, the world over.
