Siri Jantey, otherwise known as Glitter Wasteland, is gearing up to release a brand new EP, simply titled EP1 on the first of July. The seven track EP will contain five original tracks and two remixes of "Don't Let It Go" and "Cold War" from IAM and Pop Shop.

The EP isn't grounded in any singular location, as can be felt throughout the music. Having been raised in Bangkok, Thailand, before spending time in a myriad locations including the Swiss Alps, Los Angeles and Australia, it is difficult to pinpoint or define this sound - and that's a really good thing.

Having built a reputation as a great live performer through recent sets at London's Electrowerkz, The Alternative Great Escape ad Legarthy Festival in Zurich, Glitter Wasteland is absolutely gearing up to make her mark on electro-pop.

Describing her passion for music and the beginnings of Glitter Wasteland, Siri explains, "Music was always an important part of my life. From the very beginning of my memories, I remember moments of music, always connected to all kind of situations and moods."

On the band name, “It's about contrasts, antipodes, extremes. Both sides of the same coin called life in all its beautiful and ugly facets. One can't be without the other. The stage, the bright part, and the scene behind the curtain. I like to bring both sides together in my moments of creativity. It also means freedom. Be glamorous if you like, but don't follow the rules of society and fashion if you know deep within that these rules aren't right for you”.
