It’s January, it’s cold, and some of us are thigh deep in snow. On the bright side however, festival season is rapidly approaching and the lineup for the Gasparilla Music Festival is here!
In case GMF is new to you, it is a two-day festival held March 12th -13th in downtown Tampa, Florida. For the hip-hop, R&B and funk lovers, Erykah Badu, Talib Kweli, and Charles Bradley are bringing the party to Florida. For the lovers of all things alt rock, indie pop or folk, MS MR, Savoy, Houndmouth, and many more will be there just for you. And it doesn't stop there - the full lineup hasn't been finalized yet, so expect more amazing acts to follow.
The Gasparilla Music Festival is also a non-profit organization; according to ClimateSafe, their mission is to “create a sustainable community event for the Tampa Bay area while promoting arts education and benefiting local organization and business.” So while you’re getting you’re groove on you can simultaneously feel good about doing the right thing for the earth.
Single day tickets start at the measly price of $30, so you'd be silly to miss out - grab tickets here, and more information at the official Gasparilla Music Festival website.
