The Final Fantasy video game series has been around for quite some time, and now it has come time for its newest addition - Final Fantasy XV. The game is scheduled to come out on September 30, but a promotional trailer has been released to show off the new game.
In this trailer, there is a cover of the classic Ben E. King song, "Stand by Me," performed by none other than the stunning Florence + the Machine. Florence Welch describes the game franchise as "mythical, beautiful, and epic," reports Pitchfork. "'Stand by Me' is one of the greatest songs probably of all time and you can't really improve on it, you just have to make it your own. For me it was just about bringing the song into the world of Florence + the Machine and the world of Final Fantasy." The trailer also features music from iconic video game composer Yoko Shimomura.
