The Red Hot Chili Pepper's bassist Flea has certainly not been shy about supporting democratic candidate Bernie Sanders during this presidential race. However, Flea's political stance got quite a bit more interesting when he spoke to Rolling Stones about Donald Trump following the Iowa caucus.
Flea is quoted as saying, "I can't take Donald Trump or anything he says seriously," Flea commented. "I just think that he's a silly reality show bozo and blustering guy who likes getting attention. I don't think he wants to be president, and I don't think he has a chance to be the president. He's just some egotistical, silly person whose main concern in life is getting a blowjob. He wants to be on TV and he wants everyone to thinks he's important."

In case that comment didn't make it clear, The Red Hot Chili Peppers are democrats and are scheduled to hold a rally for Bernie Sanders in Los Angeles on Feb 5.
Flea has been the most vocal politically on his Twitter page which is linked below.

Apart from their political activity, The Red Hot Chili Peppers have also announced a new album produced by indie music icon Danger Mouse. They are going to be on tour for the album this year, including a headliner date at the Leeds festival.
