Last weekend, Pearl Jam's frontman Eddie Vedder stopped in to his old high school, The San Dieguito Academy, for a fundraiser to support the school's performing arts funds.
Taking to the stage with a number of teachers and previous studens of the college, he performed right alongside his alumni, including a cover of Joe Jackson's "Got The Time" and The Modern Lovers' "Roadrunner," along with a high school band known as Amazons.
Vedder attended the high school for his senior year, during which he lived alone and worked in a drug store by night to support himself. He eventually dropped out, but of course went on to pursue a career with what has become one of the most successful rock bands in history.
