It seems likely that the team behind Goldenvoice don’t sleep. The live music promotion company currently have their hands full with executing weekend 1 of Coachella 2016; and they’re also busy finalizing their recently announced Panorama Music Festival in New York City. Yet somehow they’re already taking on another project for this Fall, and it’s expected to be the mother of all music festivals.

According to the Los Angeles Times, Goldenvoice is coordinating an event that will be headlined by six rock legends: Sir Paul McCartney, The Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd's Roger Waters, The Who, Bob Dylan and Neil Young. Not only do these artists almost single handedly create any rock beginner's record collection, but this will be the first time in history these six musical icons are featured together on one event.

Adding to the excitement, this unnamed festival is a once-in-a-lifetime experience – and with a bill this monumental, it does seem genuinely impossible to create twice. But for this event that will go down in history, it will be taking place October 7th-9th in Indo, California, at the Empire Polo Field. The expected schedule is as follows: Bob Dylan and The Rolling Stones as the back to back headliners for Friday. Neil Young and Paul McCartney as the following performers on Saturday, and The Who and Roger Waters closing out the weekend on Sunday. Attendees can expect “full stage productions, with full sets.”

“It’s so special in so many ways.” shared Elliot Robert, Young’s longtime manager, “You won’t get a chance to see a bill like this, perhaps ever again. It’s a show I look forward to more than any show in a long time”

Goldenvoice is expected to release the official announcement in the coming weeks.
