Big Beat Records has been a platform for the best of the best tunes from electronic producers, pop artists, and even some hip-hop throughout the past five years. Releases have varied from large to small, including artists like Skrillex, Knife Party, Icona Pop, Dropout, Kodak To Graph, Porter Robinson, and a heap of others. In celebration of five years of music, the New York based record label released a 23 track compilation— 24 if you count the minimix.
The collection features some of their most iconic releases, a handful of celebratory remixes, and even a four minute long mix, highlighting how far dance music has come in such a short period of time.
Big Beat states in the SoundCloud description of the compilation that this isn't just "a simple collection of songs." They continue to say this collection represents "a celebration of the anniversary of our relaunch, and to present a trajectory of where we intend to travel."
If this is an example of what's to come, it's fair to assume that they have a lot up their sleeve for 2016. Check out the compilation below.
