At a venue called The National, in Richmond, set to host the likes of Pvris, STRFKR and more in the coming weeks, Bon Iver graced the stage and unleashed a brand new song on the audience. Earlier in the year, Bon Iver teased what appeared to be a new music video on Instagram–but to no avail as nothing ever came from it. Does this mean fans can expect a final product from Bon Iver before the year ends? 

Bon Iver New Song

Early on in the show Bon Iver alerted the audience about his newest song, and better yet, that he planned to sing it for them. The audience screamed and howled throughout the performance, no doubt being overly enthused to be the first to hear the new song. Then, Bon Iver's Justin Vernon nervously utters "it's new but I just want to play it for y'all" before he proceeds to sing. The piano begins, and well, you'll just have to watch for yourself while Bon Iver does what Bon Iver does best.

YWCA Richmond Partnership 

The news of the new song has reached far and wide, with fans and publications alike going a little wild for it. And when one sees the partnership that lies as the foundation of the event itself, it becomes clear that the publicity is going toward a noble cause – Bon Iver partnered with YWCA Richmond in the fight to end domestic violence.
