You heard right! Queen Bey is ready to grace us with her latest work, piled into a much anticipated album. It’s been about two years since the singer iconically dropped a full length album, completely by surprise and with a video clip for every single track - so needless to say, and fans are eager to hear what’s to come next.
It’s been reported that Beyoncé’s sixth solo album has been finished since late last year, but its release has been stalled due to another power-female-vocalist that’s been dominating the charts and radio stations globally. That’s right: Adele.
The immense success of her album 25, since it’s release last November, has put a pause to the release of Beyoncé’s own. But there’s no bad blood; Bey was simply showing her respect to a fellow songstress by allowing Adele to shine in her rightful moment.
A source told The Sun, “She held off on a release as a code of honour to
Adele… Adele’s sales are starting to die down, Beyoncé is ready to drop her album at anytime.” Additionally, the singer has been “doing bits here and there” to stay in the limelight while the success of 25 was at its peak.

But we all know Beyoncé isn’t giving up her crown anytime soon and that she will be a huge highlight of the year. From the announcement of her Super Bowl halftime performance with Coldplay, new updates on her album release, and the Grammy’s right around the corner, expect 2016 to be the year of Yoncé.
