The line-up to BBC Radio 1's annual music festival has just been announced and it, if I may say so myself, is pretty epic. Almost every genre of music has been accounted for in this all-encompassing program to no doubt set the festival bar high for any lover of pure pop.
Huge names headline each day, with Mumford & Sons and Coldplay going head to head with Bring Me The Horizon and Biffy Clyro (which feels incredibly well-planned, given that the chances of fans wanting to see both is surely minimal), along with pop-rapper Iggy Azalea, Chvrches, Bastille, Craig David and more.
Personally, our top choices for the weekend include The Last Shadow Puppets, Flume, Tame Impala, The Weeknd, Fetty Wap and grime lords Skepta and Stormzy, while those with an ear for bubblegum will delight to see Meghan Trainor, Ellie Goulding, Twenty One Pilots and Nick Jonas (hoping he nails the solo this time) on call, alongside nostalgic names like Panic! At The Disco and even Craig David.
Head to the festival's official website for more information.
