Arca "Almost Done" With New Album "Reverie"

Venezuelan record producer and mixing engineer Arca has been even more eerie and cryptic than usual over the past few days, most recently publishing a pair of photos of plants in front of a blank wall.

Earlier this morning, he released a video on Instagram of a white flower with what sounds to be newly crafted music in the background.

There is no announcement of a release date for Reverie just yet, but one can assume it'll be coming up quick, considering how anxious Arca seems to be in this post.

This announcement of a new album comes as somewhat of a surprise to most fans, as Arca's latest release, Mutant, is only about four months old. Mutant was released to widespread critical acclaim, landing on Pitchfork's Top 50 Best Albums of 2015 at #38.

Even after Mutant was released, it seemed Arca was overflowing with creative juices. He came out with the song "Urchin" in late December of last year - download here or listen below.
