Singer-songwriter Andrew Bird will release his new album, Are You Serious, on April 1st and he has released another single from his eighth studio release.
This will be Bird's first album since 2012's Hands Of Glory and will feature the new single, "Roma Fade."
“‘Roma Fade’ is about the wordless dialogue between the watcher and the watched and the fine line between romance and creepiness," said Bird of the new song in a press release. "In this song, ‘she’ is a fortress of solitude, yet the observer can still affect her with his gaze. Whether the attention is welcome or not, something between them has changed. Notice how the song shifts from third person to first person near the end and it’s actually the observer who has transformed.”
Bird had previously released the album single "Left Handed Kisses" which features Fiona Apple.
On Feb. 5, Bird appeared on Conan to perform the song "Capsized," which is the lead track from Are You Serious.
