Why do we like this?

I've been sitting on this fun little track for some time now, and given the fact that internet has slowed to a crawl (thanks, America), it seems high time that I bring it to your attention.

New Navy clearly aren't strangers to the website. Their catchy brand of indie rock has made its way into the Song of the Day slot numerous times before, and while "Pelican" ends up being slightly more toned-down than the rest, it's something about the lyrics that win me over. They're just kinda...silly!
