Why do we like this?

Leave it to a new band called New Life to breathe, well, new life into the stale world of modern synth-pop.

How did the New York-based outfit pull it off? By injecting debut single "God Will Never Come For Us" with tight guitar riffs, solid vocals, and two fat scoops of nostalgia.

I'm reminded of GTA V and Nicolas Winding Refn's cult hit Drive. Something about this track screams, "get in the car and just drive until you're a speck on the horizon." It's hard to ignore that sort of siren song.
