English synth-pop duo New Arcades are really starting to make a name for themselves. Ever since pairing up with Futurecop! for the track "Schizoid Man," they have kept getting better and better.
Turning the use of synth pads into an art, New Arcades continue to find that point where electronic music and and pure unadulterated emotion meet. These guys write great pop music, and their newest track "Wherever You Are" is no exception.
"Wherever You Are" spins a tale of something that seems quite a bit like teenage love. It kind of makes me feel like I should be waiting for a train to take me away to my first semester of college, when the love of my life shows up to stop me -- or at the very least, to make out with me.
Synthesized strings only enhance the mood as the electro beats keep thumping behind a plethora of orchestrated sounds, working together for one intense ending.
