Why do we like this?

British synth-pop duo New Arcades is back at it with a brand new track to tug at your 80s-filled heartstrings. 

"Let's Get Away" is an upbeat dream pop gem featuring vintage synthesized melodies and what's becoming their signature coming-of-age inspired lyrics crooned over a thumping kick drum.  

It all reminds me as if the early 2000s pop-punk bands traded in their instruments for synthesizers, and I mean this in the best possible way.

The only thing missing is me in a T-top Iroc Z Camaro, driving off into the sunset while pumping "Let's Get Away" through my 8-track at full blast. Then I feel like I would be enjoying this track the way that it was meant to be enjoyed
