Why do we like this?

The first 45 seconds of this song had me wondering what the hell I was getting into. Fortunately Neon Indian is a familiar-enough name that I stuck around...

On that note, "Slumlord" is awesome. It has the perfect blend of funk and chillwave energy, with perhaps the only part throwing me off coming in the last 15 seconds. Other than that, I dig.

The track will appear on a new album titled VEGA INTL. NIGHT SCHOOL, due on Oct 16 2015 via Mom + Pop / Transgressive.
