Brighton is a haven for UK indie types, and the latest to make their mark is Nature TV. Forming at Brighton’s acclaimed British and Irish Modern Music Institute (the same place The Kooks met), the four-piece have quickly made a name for themselves around the local scene, having already supported Swimming Tapes on their recent tour.
"She Wants To See You Cry" marks the quartet's first single from their forthcoming EP, set for release before the year is out. It's a feel-good indie guitar romance featuring frontman Guy Bangham's youthful vocals that will have you grooving.
Don't ask me why but this track feels Roy Orbison-esque, capturing a classic American pop-rock vibe. Speaking on the track Bangham said;
I wrote the song quite a while ago when I was going through a classic case of heartbreak. It’s kind of me overthinking things and playing out conversations by myself, running through previous examples and scenarios then feeling paranoid about it all, before trying to rationalise everything.
This is a terrific single from the lads and if you're liking what you're hearing be sure to check out more of their songs here.
