Natasha Kmeto is the master at making simplified yet sophisticated electronic R&B-influenced, soul pop gems.
Her newest single, "Take Out," from her upcoming LP
Crisis (our June 18, 2013), is a galactically charged example of what's in store for her album. It starts off with her strong vocals and a couple crystal clear bass beats. She's soon accompanied by some straight-forward harmonies, finger snapping, and a trippy synth. It's easy to pick up Natasha's preference for weaving these effects in and out of the song; at times it's just her voice and a couple beats, and other times it's a full-on electronic symphony. This approach yields to a thoroughly entertaining end product.
