Why do we like this?

More than a year has passed since wait what rocketed into the spotlight with his mashup of The xx and Notorious B.I.G. The album was a smash hit, but Biggies people quickly pulled it from the rotation. wait what then released a varietal mixtape that featured dozens of artists.

Then back in July of 2011, Charlie Kabul gave the Washed Out album a full listen. He was in Bali of all places, and decided there and then that it was an album he wanted to do something with. He settled on Nas as the perfect overlay for the synthed out chillwave of Within and Without. If you like the single "Made You And I Look," you can stream the full mashup album over on Soundcloud.
