Why do we like this?
Seattle's Naomi Punk may just be some unknown band for now. but I'm anticipating a quick rise for them. Take a listen to their single, "The Spell" and you'll see why.
Their musical style encapsulates all that is good and holy in the garage grunge scene. There's really nothing better than a quintessential grunge track that trudges through its heaviness and sludge with such good taste. This song is a steady stream of wallowing guitars, lackadaisical vocals and slow punk drums. This is the perfect formula for a psych punk extravaganza.
I'm hoping to hear more from Naomi Punk soon, but for now, "The Spell" will hold me over.
