Soulection affiliated Naji is doing great things for music, changing the landscape of modern R&B with his upbeat, slightly off-kilter production and vocal tricks which nod to the old-school but still remain planted firmly in the modern world.
A drummer originally, the foundation of his musical talent is aided by his ability to 'unbox' rhythms: an easy explanation as to why his music is dynamic, fresh, and ever-changing.
After some widely-successful collaborations and vocal features with artists like Monte Booker and Swindail, Naji weaves together all of his talents into his own masterpiece - debut EP The Optimist.
