Why do we like this?

This song is so damn fun. With a title like "Fashion Pineapple," how could it not be? In fact, I'd say a fashion pineapple rivals NVDES's neon cantaloupes in the running for hippest musical fruit. 

Consistent with their choice of well-dressed edibles, London group Naives describe their sound as tropical electro-pop, and they've got all the sunny sonic elements to back it up. 

"Fashion Pineapple" has the singalong value of Foals's "Mountain At My Gates," combined with the phasing electro waves of Animal Collective and the rollicking bass groove of Jungle's "Busy Earnin."

Brimming with breezy vocal harmonies and tumbling, icy notes, it's perfect for cruising down the boardwalk this summer.
