Taking cues from hipster, blog friendly rap that doesn't shy away from being absurd, dark, and a constant non-sequitur, Nafets' "Feel Good" is a stomping ground for clever lyricism and eccentricity.
Borderline perverse while remaining tongue in cheek, Nafets' latest single channels the sick side of Tyler, the Creator's work on Goblin with a slightly more off the wall sensibility. With themes like depression and arrogance at the center of "Feel Good," Nafets confronts his ego on top of a wonky soundscape, pushing a stark contrast to listeners which drills into your mind like ravenous chiggers.
Delicately towing the line between off kilter self-reflection and crass humor, "Feel Good" makes good on its title as the artist lays it all on the table to reach some kind of inner peace.
