NADINE recently put out Oh My, a full length album of synthpop where almost every song is gold. "Ultra Pink" is the second track off the release, and a shining example of the group's ingenuity.
A minimalistic drum kit and some jarring lo-fi pangs part the curtains. A bass line swaggers below reverb shrouded vocals that carry with an angelic charm. The arrangement is almost cartoonish, and yet devilishly sexy.
If you have a chance, go listen to the full album. It's a complete and utter joyride.
