Why do we like this?

I must admit that when “Something Something Something” from emerging Swedish artist Nadia Nair was sent to me a couple of months back, I didn't like it at first. But the powerful vocals, evocative lyrics, and eccentric instrumentation slowly carved a place in my heart.

A lonesome melody sung by darkly soulful vocals against the humming of a gentle, melancholy organ all creates a hypnotic, interlude-type piece that encapsulates Nair's love of mantra and poetry.

"Something Something Something” is the first taste of her debut album Beautiful Poetry, which will soon be revealed to the world. More info on that here.
