Why do we like this?

You may not be familiar with Quentin Lepoutre, aka Myd, but you may know him through his crew Club Cheval, and you most certainly know Ed Banger Records, the famous French electronic label he joined last September.

With his recent release, Myd proves to be a most-versatile artist, swiftly moving from the dance tracks he produced with Club Cheval to a fresh new kind of psych-pop, feel-good French house music.

His track "The Sun," the first of a three-track EP called All Inclusive, is a small jewel. With its detuned chords, groovy basslines and warm vocal melody, it will make you feel like summer is already back.
