Okay, well, let me just preface this with the simple fact that summer-themed pop music is dead, and modern pop is what's really good.
Now that I've got that off of my chest, let's get the facts straight. Alex Crossman is a 19-year-old producer, professionally known as Mura Masa. The young beat wizard managed to make what may be the biggest song this year, "Firefly." And the most important fact of all: he's got a new album coming out, and this is the first single.
If you've got an average sense of hearing, and you're picking up what I'm picking up, you can probably hear how incredible the strings are on this track. You may also be able to hear how damn good Shura's vocals are.
Well, at this point, you may know what your best interest is. If you're sitting here, reading this, go follow Mura Masa on Twitter. You might want to stay updated for the release of his new album.
