Indie rockers Surfer Blood are following up their fourth album Snowdonia with a limited edition covers album entitled, you guessed it, Covers. The vinyl-only pressing is limited to just 1000 copies and contains nine tracks from a host of artists who have inspired and influenced them.
The first track released is the four piece's take on Mudhoney's Every Good Boy Deserves Fudge cut of "Good Enough." The band keeps things fairly subdued, offering up a fresh version of the song that doesn't alter too much from the original.
The album will only be available through mail order and at upcoming tour dates and includes covers of Outkast's "Hey Ya," The Breeders' "Little Fury" and Pavement's "Box Elder."
