Why do we like this?
Brisbane's MTNS sure know how to make an entrance. The trio's debut single "Lost Track of Time" hit the top of our Popular chart quick-smart, as blogs and radio rushed to support this exciting new act, with the track currently sitting at just under 60K SoundCloud plays. This initial success got the band selected to support some of Australia's finest acts (including Andy Bull, The Kite String Tangle, and Wolf & Cub), receiving rave reviews for their assured, commanding performances.
After all the initial excitement, their next release was always going to be closely monitored, and that time is upon us. With the band's debut EP Salvage out now, they've released the title track as the feature single. Again driven by the band's layered synth production, "Salvage" has a more uplifting feel to it, highlighted by a number of rousing choruses and striking musical textures. This is a truly impressive single.
