Why do we like this?

Mt. Joy is, without a doubt, one of the most exciting young bands out there right now. Currently playing opening slots for The Lumineers after their own successful headlining tour, the LA-based band play a beautiful style of blues-rock infused folk music.

"Let Loose" is one of two brand new songs from this quickly rising band. This one starts out smoothly, with guitar and piano riffing blues chords back and forth, while singer Matt Quinn delivers a soulful verse. The instruments in this track are warm, colorful, and hearken back to the glory days of blues-rock. Fair warning, the guitar solo might knock your socks off, and if it doesn't, the keys will. Give this one a listen, this band is hard not to love.
