Why do we like this?

Mr. Silla is the wonderful moniker for the solo project of Sigurlaug Gísladóttir, a stalwart member of the Icelandic music scene, known for her previous work with the likes of Múm, Snorri Helgasson, Mice Parade, and Low Roar.

Here, her track "Breathe" (taken from the recently released self-titled debut album) gets an overhaul from compatriot DJ, KGB Soundsystem. 

The original track (a gorgeous and shimmering slice of electronica) is transformed into a bonafide banger, ready for any dance floor across the globe.
