Am enjoying this hazy psychy-synthy-funkadelic-vocoder-rock sound from the Danish Mr. Koifish. The lyric video is a fun addition too (below) -- defs worth listening and watching together.
On this dreamy and goofy track the singer seems to drift in-between states of blind ambition, excited focus, and a serene sense of being content in the moment. Contradictory self-affirmations and trippy pictures are painted for us as a triumphant chorus states, “I know I can do what I am wanting to do!”
Mr. Koifish gives the audience a sense of motivational drive, and also a complacent sense of serenity. Not entirely sure but I think he is cleverly playing with / touching on some opposing thoughts on ambition and contentment... sometimes basking in the glory of knowing what needs to be done can stunt the process of actually doing it perhaps?
