Why do we like this?

This song had my attention from the get-go, and when the full percussion and bassline kicked in around the 37 second mark, I knew it had to get a spot on Indie Shuffle.

Mr Hudson has quite a reputation behind him, most notably for a song alongside Jay Z called "Forever Young." He's also recorded and performed alongside Kanye West, Tinie Tempah, Calvin Harris and Amy Winehouse. So naturally anything coming out of his camp is going to be pretty high on the quality scale...

"Hey You" keeps up to standard, with a fresh neo-soul sound and excellent production. It's clearly a solid introduction for Mr Hudson on Indie Shuffle.
