Why do we like this?

Swedish artist Mouthe has got one of those intangible sounds that's hard to define. After trying my best to categorize his brand of electronic hip-hop, it seems nothing seems to quite fit comfortably.

His music is something you've really got to listen to in order to understand, and even then, you may have more questions than answers.

"Hallelujah" features his unmistakable, dark baritone voice delivering laid back verses atop tumbling percussion and flutters of wavering synths. It's a cool combination and a refreshing take on hip-hop.
