Why do we like this?
Mounika., French beat-maker, featured the indie-folk duo, Ocie Elliott, to create "Tender Love." This musical gem was made 2 years ago, but has just now been released. When released, Mounika. sweetly said,
"2 years is a long time. What made me change my mind is to always be able to "enjoy" it when other productions are unbearable for me the next day, but also the positive feedback I received from some of you in private. So I decided to release it, as it was made 2 years ago. I couldn't tell that it represents exactly what I'm doing now but it remains very important to me. I hope it will be the same for you."
I'm not sure what made him apprehensive about releasing this, but I am glad the 2-year gap didn't stop him! It's timeless and dreamy. Ocie Elliott's vocals are highlighted perfectly against the lo-fi beats. "Tender Love" is the second single following "Intro (i m sorry)," which are both from Mounika.'s upcoming mini-album, I Need Space, coming out this June.
