Why do we like this?
Valerio Dittrich aka MOTSA has just dropped a gorgeous video for "Petrichor," the opening track from his brand new Petricolour EP.
The stunning visual, directed by Martina Trepczyk & Nicola Leffern, features the artist immersed by the elements, surrounded by the incredible landscape and scenery of his home country of Austria.
"Petrichor" features Sophie Lindinger (one half of Austrian experimental pop outfit Leyya), and envelopes the listener in atmospheric melodic and rhythmic soundscapes which wash over the listener like liquid melancholy.
There is a wonderful incorporation of organic textures, instruments and synthesizers at play, and I hopefully I get to catch him live somewhere in Europe very soon!
