Why do we like this?
I recently came across this blissful track from Irish producer MOTHS. "Heart" is five minutes of downtempo electronica -- admittedly a genre I'm not an expert on -- but to me it sounds rather like Four Tet or maybe even Bonobo. I am aware that these are some of the most critically acclaimed musicians around at the moment, so it's not a comparison I make lightly - but the pretty, fragile sound is matched, as is the ear for a good tune.
There is a paucity of information on the guy behind this, but I think it's a single person operation ran by a guy called Jack. His Soundcloud page has a few more tracks to get into, but as for an album or single release I have no idea. You can also cop a free download of the track over there.
The atmospheric nature of the song is made even better when watching this awesome video for it.
