Why do we like this?
Mother Mother is currently streaming their much anticipated fourth studio album The Sticks before its release tomorrow, and boy does it impress. For those who don't know, Mother Mother is a five-piece Canadian indie rock band based in Vancouver. Two of the band members (Ryan and Molly) are actually siblings and started the band together back in 2007.
The highlight by far on the album is "Infinitesimal" -- it's exactly the kind of quirky rock song that I expected to find on The Sticks. The amazing vocal harmony between Ryan, Molly and Debra-Jean, the clever, offbeat lyricism and the dynamic instrumentation all make for a truly memorable song.
Just a warning you'll be singing this one for days.
