Motez Praise

Adelaide's Motez returns today in a big way, with a thrillingly dynamic, glitchy new track, "Praise."

The track opens in a way that seems to indicate it's heading toward a simple house breakdown. But before we get there, the sound is hijacked over and over again by heavier, glitchier, even techno-ier beats that morph and shift at every peak.

The devil is in those details - it's the shifting tones that make this track engaging, and save it from falling into familiar, tired territory. 

This is Motez's first new track since his 2016 EP The Vibe, and won't be the last we hear of him this year. If this is anything to go by, we're in for some amazing new music in 2017.
