Why do we like this?

Dance music has begun to consume my life. It was a type of music that I invited into my life during the process of creating this mix. Like most habits though, if left unchecked they can become all-consuming. Listening to dance music all the time is stressful, and removing a couple of bangers from my main playlist, The master playlist, has been a welcome change.

Right, hands up if you're enjoying everything about Moses Sumney. "Cut Me" comes off of his most recent EP release of the same title. This sound that he's exploring is somewhere between Gorillaz and James Blake, but in a way that's entirely its own. Bless.

Left, I just figured since I started that last paragraph with 'right' that I should balance things out -- because a healthy life requires balance.
