Why do we like this?

The Miami-based band, Monterrey, in collaboration with Indie Pop songstress, Calica, has created a woozy track that feels like the half-sober stroll home on a warm summer evening.

It's got glittering synths like the stars hanging in the twilight sky, droning vocals like the din of sidewalk crowds, and a bassline that is your own personal vibe as you stroll along with the likes of "Without You" ringing through your headphones.

"Without You" marks the new single to follow "New Light" and "Terrarium," which made its way onto Spotify's Fresh Finds: Indie playlist. An EP is said to be coming from this 4-piece band, so if you like what you're hearing, be sure to dog ear the name 'Monterrey.'
