Why do we like this?
You know what's fucking annoying? When I try to search "Montag" in Google, all that pops up is Heidi Montag. I'm not even sure who the hell she is, but from the pictures I'd guess she was in Beverly Hills 90210?
A much more enjoyable Montag is this artist out of Montreal, who recently did this collaboration with Erika Spring. The track is a beautiful synth pop experience that reminds me a lot of Stars.
The release is part of an ambitious project called Phases, which seeks to unfurl 12 tracks over 12 months of the year. I'm not exactly sure when he started, but if it was January, then this is the 10th single released in the series. I should probably go find the other 9...
