Why do we like this?

Infectiously catchy vibes coming in from Christoph Andersson's new solo project, Monopol.

On "Somebody That I'll Never Be," Monopol has facilitated an easy-going listening experience -- one that's worth hitting repeat on right after you've finished listening for the first time.

Moving away from his hip-hop production in the past, his new direction with this indie pop style provides a more accessible sound. If this is where he's heading moving forward, it's easy to say that I'll be following attentively.
