Oh, The Weeping Smile
An endearing and earth-shattering creation by Monica Martin with James Blake pulls at all the strings of my heart and leaves me hyperventilating.
It's quite immense how creatively destructive this track is, it's an emotional ride from start to finish, but it's not all tears.
The track goes in and out of highs and lows. it's endearing, overwhelming, destructive and as a final bow it picks you up and dusts off everything it just said, it teaches you a lesson, points out your mistakes, and then narratively tells you to go and do the greatest things.
I adore this track.
