Why do we like this?
There's a lot of lofi hip-hop type beat stuff floating around these days. Much of it ends up sounding the same, but there are definitely folks experimenting here and there.
Turns out Brazilian vibes mix really well with this style, as evidenced by mookina and carbeau's "orfeu."
Montreal-based producer included this on single on her newest EP titled vol 1.The opening song "peaches" is actually lovely vocal affair. As is the second track "ipanema." Actually, the entire EP is great from start to end. I might be back with more coverage <3
