Moi Je is back with a new EP titled Profite, and Indie Shuffle was lucky enough to cop the premiere of the eponymous track. It's not the first time that Loïc Lassablière, the French musician behind Moi Je, has shown up on our radar: "Fais Rien," his biggest hit to date, got our attention last year. Since then, Moi Je has been making his way toward wider recognition, releasing new tracks on a regular basis (check his SoundCloud here).
This track is a nice piece of upbeat nu-disco that'll probably leave you fighting the urge to burn your shoes on the dance floor. Frenetic synths and funky guitar riffs perfectly match Babil Lacheb and Léa Brachet's cheery vocals, resulting in a higly infectious song. I won't be surprised if it spreads quickly through the Parisian nightlife.I don't know about you, but "Moi Je Profite" (I do enjoy, as we say here).
Profite - EP will be released next Friday via Crosswalk Records. We encourage you to support the artists by pre-ordering it here.
