About a month ago I picked up on Moguta's debut single, "Koto Moon." It's an ODESZA-inspired, Japanese-influenced future bass track that tickled all the right notes for me.
Flash forward a month and the Japanese producer is back with a second song called "Yoake" that once again manages to blend traditional local sounds with the more modern aesthetic of electronic music, a la ODESZA and Flume.
The end result is clearly satisfying to the ears, as he's managed to win me over 2 out of 2 times. Pretty good start!
